School Closure Update #3
- Hi folks! I have been emailing your student accounts and posting in Microsoft Teams. Please access the information that way and email me if you have any questions. I will no longer be updating this Weebly for the rest of the semester.
School Closure Update #2:
Mrs. Canam
- Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well and not going too crazy being cooped up at home. I hope you are taking time to unwind, relax, and focus on your well-being. It's weird to not have so many commitments! I am keeping busy by trying to entertain my young kids, cooking some interesting meals, reading, and watching too much Netflix! I am missing being in the classroom with all of you. I was so excited to be working with you this semester and hope we get to talk about everything that has happened when we return.
- I have received many questions about the Multi Genre project and when it is due. We have all been directed to focus on our physical and mental well-being and to not worry about academics at this point. So while you can work on it and finish it up, don't worry about the due date. It will all work out in due time. I will communicate more with you if I hear anything that relates to our course.
- Please take care of yourself!
Mrs. Canam
School Closure Update:
Sincerely,
Mrs. M. Canam
- Hi everyone! I hope you are all well and keeping busy (read, read, read!). During our two week school closure, I am not assigning any NEW work. However, you have your Multi Genre project to complete for the day we return and you have an independent novel to read and prepare yourself for your group book talk when we return. You could also complete the two chapters of the Chapter Analysis for The Great Gatsby that we have been working on. These things were all assigned before Friday, March 13. Other than that, read more independent novels. The app - OverDrive - can connect to the Fredericton Public Library with your library card and you can access their entire collection of ebooks and audiobooks. Please take advantage of this!
- If you (and any parents) have any further questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected].
- I will communicate next week if there are any further developments. I wish you all well and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Sincerely,
Mrs. M. Canam
